Little Crazy Einstein!!!!

Is his hair going crazy or what? He was super sweaty and I thought it was funny how his hair stands straight up. He is crying of course...because I wasn't giving him more food. I am not fast enough sometimes!

Memorial - Baby Keas Passed Away

I am super sad to report that the little baby kitty "keas" didn't get better and had to be put down on August 6th. The pictures above are last Saturday when I was babysitting and nursing her back to health while Jill and Duke were out of town. We thought she was doing better but her little 2 lb body just couldn't keep fighting. She was the sweetest, most loving kitty and purred all the time regardless of how crappy she must have been feeling. She will truly be missed by all! We love you Keas....

Mekhi's back!

They are back together and back in love. I didn't realize how much Keegan actually did miss his brother. They spend their first day back together in each others arms. Keegan would look at him, touch him and then throw his arms around his neck and give him a kiss. It was the most precious moment watching them two. Mekhi as well can't believe how big Keegan has gotten. They are sitting on the couch eating "cheetos" together.

Sweeping!

Is his new favorite thing to do. He goes straight to the broom and sweeps the floor. He loves it. Sometimes he swings it around and bangs things but he puts it back down when I tell him. He now has started to give it to me and wants me to sweep the floor. And he doesn't quite like it when I stop. He gives it back and in his own words yells at me in baby babble. I usually have to finally put it away. Should I send him to ya'lls house to sweep for you?

It's Feeding Time!

So this weekend I decided to start letting Keegan eat by himself. Let him make a mess and learn to eat with a spoon and have the food in a container. Crazy enough I started with Speghetti. He did GREAT. He never tipped the bowl over, he tried with the spoon and shoved it right in. We had a mess but not nearly as bad as I anticipated. Its a start.... stay tune for more updates on this subject!

My job!

My new job with Affiniscape is great. It is such a cool company to work for. They are very young and people who know Austin it so very down to earth. Coming from the corporate world and how uptight it gets this company is so laid back it's almost strange. I am so blessed to have joined a great group of people. I work 7:30 to 4:30 and my days fly by. Keegan and his Cousins

When we were in San Diego for a visit recently my neices and nephews fell in love with Keegan. Who wouldn't though. He is super fun. Unfortunately I didn't do a great job taking pictures. Rebecca seemed to be the only smart one in the group. Colton and Raegan are the only ones with him in the pictures she took but they really liked him. The kids got a crash course in watching a toddler. They followed him everywhere and by the end they were pooped. My boy is a food hog. We are always amazed at what this tiny little boy can consume. And let me tell you it NEVER stops. He eats ALL DAY LONG. And that isn't an exaggeration. In these pictures Keegan had finished eating a meal and then had rice cakes and then was sitting on the couch enjoying a cherry dessert. I am pretty sure right after that he was eating again. It's a running joke but I don't see the end in sight.
