Meet the Zoo....

Well for those of you who don't know how I founded my own little zoo here in Austin (at my house no less) Here are the specifics.....

I had a wonderful friend Cristina Larrazabel come visit in Sept 2006 and she tricked me into stopping by puppies outside a Petmart. Of course I fell in love and ended up getting this adorable fluffy little bear looking puppy. I named him Monster. He has always lived up to his name. He has turned into a 80 lb dog who thinks he is a lap dog. He has no clue about his size. Monster is awesome with Keegan. And he has turned into a GREAT dog. Alittle skitzo with reflections and shadows but other than that......

Everyone knows Fatty.... Madison the large black cat is still with us. She is about 10 years old now and fat as ever. Weighing in at 22 lbs. She has this tiny little head and this enormous body. She has adjusted pretty well to the rest of the animals but still poops outside her litter box every morning. She is still a bitch when you bug her or touch her the wrong way. Poor Keegan has felt her wrath a few times. But she doesn't do much but sleep underneath his crib. And eat. And sometimes she runs around like she is on crack!

Animals must talk and know which house has a sucker living in it. Well a sweet kitty showed up and I started to feed her. And of course about a month later her tummy started to get big and I just knew she was preggers. She ended up having 4 kittens in my garage and like a complete cookoo I still have them all.

Coming Soon Mommy Fluff... She lives outside still and is the mommy to all these darn cats. I will get a picture of her soon and upload it!

Now this is Mufasaa (aka mumu)..... He is one of the kittens I kept. He and I have a special bond since he was little. I love this darn cat. He is such a love... But he is also a shit. He starts stuff with Monster and Madison. He is always the one who walks up to them and whacks them with his paw. He can always be found near me when I am home, somehow touching me. He loves me!

This little fella is Tabasco (aka TeTe)... He has the loudest purr you have ever heard. He also flops his entire body on yours. He doesn't care where it lands he sees it... likes it... and flops. He knocks over every glass so beware!

Here is one of my girls... Bella. She is a royal pain in the ass. She is into everything... she takes all my eye brushes as well as pencils and carries them throughout the house..... She unfortunately goes through her cycle every month. She walks throughout the house whining for Monster. It drives me CRAZY. I must get her fixed. But she is a love hoar so cat people love her.

This little angel is Izzy (aka miss izz) Short for Isabella. Since I didn't have a girl I had to name her something close to that. She is super tiny and sleeps with her face shoved into the couch. She sleeps sitting up. She goes through her cycle more quiet than Bella but she backs up putting her you know what up against everything. Your leg, Monster mostly. She is annoying but on a completely different level than the other one. She is not much of a lover as calico's don't tend to be. She keeps to herself mostly with the rare occasion of wanting love!

ALOT OF LOVE IN THIS HOUSE!!!!!!

Catching up with old friends!!!

For all you previous Future friends.... I reconnected with MaryBeth... She is doing great and is a financial advisor working for herself. Things are good. Liam is getting so big... take a look for yourself!

I also reconnected with a girl I went to daycare with back at Chapel Knolls...Kym. A few years ago Mekhi and her son Brandon ended up on the same T-Ball Team. We also lived in the same subdivision. Once I moved to Austin we lost touch.... But have no fear I found her again. And she also had a new baby boy named Dylan. He is a BIG boy. Caused his mommy some problems during her delivery. I got a chance to meet him and what a sweetie, he was so nice to Keegan. Kim I think you are lying about him being a meaney!

Mrs Kathy Flodman also had a new baby... Anna... Check out her cute pictures. I got to hold her when I was in San Diego and she is just as tiny as can be.... and cute as a button. I forget how small they are when they first come out.

Keegan and Mekhi

Look how gorgeous my boys are. Boy am I blessed. I am already dealing with the girls being giggly with Mekhi. Crying over him, staking a position outside waiting for him, looking through the window for him.... Good Lord. And the days of Mekhi not liking girls are no more. He talks about a certain girl all the time. She is older and apparently likes him too. But next year she goes to a different school so I think their make believe love affair is over. And Mr. Blu he has taken the hearts of the older women throughout Austin.... Wherever we go they stop me to tell me how gorgeous he is. He flirts as the walk away but right now he is a one woman boy... His momma's boy!!!!!

Eugene's Growing Family!

Here are some adorable pictures of Eugene new baby girl... Zenobia! Yes his crazy names continue.... But they are calling her Zoe. She is so cute. Mekhi was so excited to meet her. He is such a great big brother. If you aren't sure if that is or isn't.... the answer is YES that is Shaq. He looks like a man doesn't he? I nearly fell off my chair when I saw how old he looks. I new this kid when he was 3! Time flys by!

Mommy Amy!

Mrs. Amy Selverston had her baby girl on July 12th...... She named her Mya Nicole. Just look how beautiful this baby is.... she is a beauty! Mom and baby are doing great. Oh dad is in love of course.......

Hard Day at the Pool!

This was Keegan's first time at the pool. HE LOVED IT. Doesn't he look adorable in his little outfit. His hair obviously went flying everywhere when it dried. Kind of cute though. God forbid we don't have the binky..... He dipped his face in the water like a pro. He isn't scared of the water in his face...unlike another child of mine at this age.... MEKHI!

Keegans First Birthday

Well can you believe it has been a year? I can't. It seems like yesterday when I was emotional and overwhelmed bringing him home. I have a hard time getting my arms wrapped around the fact that my baby is now a toddler. He is so smart, and so much fun that it has been a blast being able to stay home with him for as long as I have. Here are some pictures of his low key birthday party. Just some friends came over for pizza and cake. Mekhi left the very next day for Spokane so we had to wrap this up fast. This truly was his first real sugar fix..... and he loved it. He had no problem jumping in with both hands.........
